Take your Time

Sometimes in the middle of our daily routine time flies past us too quickly that we don’t notice it. Days become weeks and after that years.

Taking time to pause to think about yourself and what you want to do with your life is the PERFECT solution. “Take your time” are words I heard at Perry’s on Magnolia in Larskpur, CA when I was eating with my friend and family. Suddenly, I stopped and was overcome with a feeling of sweetness, lightness, and simplicity.

Today we are in Mill Valley in Marin County. We stopped to lunch in Perry’s in Larkspur.

This is my fave place to eat American foot very tasty. Outside you can see a big American flag like a picture for the entrance. You can eat both indoor and outdoor. We have eaten outdoor under tha shade of a big sequoia. Weather was so pretty and warmy and you can listen to bird’s song.

I’m relaxing my friend! I’m dreaming yet!

You see, I understand my soul leads me slowly to do what is best for me, and I now take my the time to listen to her voice and follow her. It’s simple… take your time … love yourself!”

Ogni tanto è necessario prendersi delle pause per staccare l’anima dal cervello. Altrimenti si rischia di restare incatenati nella giungla urbana, dove è difficile respirare serenamente troppo a lungo. Allora anche qui in California è facile andare over the bridge, oltre la nebbia, verso il sole di Marin County a nord di San Francisco. Una ricca contea nota per le sue bellezze naturali e selvagge rimaste intatte nel tempo. Direzione Mill Valley, ci siamo fermati per un pranzo informale a Larkspur, una cittadina deliziosa all’ombra delle sequoie  di Perry’s Magnolia, un ristorante, vivace e caloroso, tipico americano ricco di insalate di Cobb e hamburger.

Proseguendo a piedi in escursione (hiking) verso il Mount Tamalpais. Dalla sua altezza si possono vedere le diverse facce di San Francisco e la sua vicinanza all’oceano sulla baia. Qui partiva, nel 1896, una ferrovia turistica panoramica molto pittoresca verso Muir Woods con delle vedute davvero suggestive. Fu chiusa nel 1930 a seguito di un incendio.E’ quasi ora di rientrare verso la nebbia di San Francisco. Il Golden Gate ci accoglie così:
